The second book in this series begins in the town of Sleepyside,
Trixie Belden and Honey Wheeler are on an urgent mission to find Jim Frayne, a
great friend that they met in the last book, Jim left to find a boy’s camp where
he could work at, but Jim didn’t know that he was actually the heir to a half a
million dollar fortune. So Trixie, Honey and Miss Trask (Honey's governess) went
off in the Silver Swan to find Jim Frayne to tell him the news and hopefully
get him to stay and live in Sleepyside. Along the mission they become wound up in
the lives of a strange family who were travelling in a red trailer. Strangely enough
they seem to see this red trailer a countless amount of times. When their
daughter runs away and Trixie and Honey discover that the red trailer, along
with many others, has been reported stolen, the two girls become determined to
find Jim and solve this tricky red trailer mystery.
My review
I Rate this book 10 out of 10!!!
Julie Campbell established a brilliant series, she had an amazing way of writing mystery books! Unfortunatly she had only wrote the first 6 books in the Trixie Belden series before Kathryn kenny took over and wrote 33 more books for the series.
Trixie Belden and the red trailer mystery is a SPECTATULAR book and deserves to be applauded.
Take pleasure in reading these GREAT GREAT books, because there is only 39 of them!! Even though that is a lot of books I wish there were more!!
